A Track & Machine
For Every Purpose

160 Moto-Trac®

MOTO-TRAC ® is an aluminum motorized track system for straight layouts of light to medium weight draperies. The track can be one-way draw or bi-parting. This system can provide an unlimited amount of center overlap if it is specified as such when ordering. Standard overlap is 12" (6" in front of 6" at the center overlap). The machine operator for this track system is attached directly to one end of the track channel (location must be specified when ordering) and is supported by an overhead structure directly above the machine. The machine is concealed by the drapery fabric via a tie-off point for the last pleat or grommet of the curtain.

The curtain machine specifications are similar to those of  the Tom Thumb® Model 872-MCS except that the limit switches are direct strike and are located at on the machine.  The curtain stops automatically at its fully opened and fully closed positions.

This track system cannot be suspended, it must be directly mounted to an overhead structure.  Maximum curtain weight for this system is 75 pounds.

When determining the side of the track system the motor is located when ordering (left or right), the view is standing in the room looking out the window with the track attached above the window.

SPECIFICATIONS:

MOTO-TRAC® 160 SERIES CURTAIN TRACKS: Curtain track (Model 1600) shall be of 16 gauge aluminum, consisting of two side-by-side runways entirely enclosed except for slots in bottom, and shall be in one continuous piece (20' maximum) except where splicing clamps are required. Curtain Carriers (Model 1131) shall be spaced on 6” centers and shall be composed of a non-binding block supporting two polyethylene wheels rolling on two parallel treads. Curtain overlap shall be provided by a pair of Master Carriers (Model 1132) which provide a 12" overlap (6" in front of 6"). One end of the track shall contain a Dead-End pulley (Model 1634) with a 1-1/4”dia. steel ball-bearing equipped wheel and will be adjustable to increase cable tension. The other end of the track system shall be equipped with a  wheel drive 1/30 HP gear motor with integral direct strike limit switches activated by the curtain carriers. The master carriers will be operated by a wire-center operating cable (Model C040) .  This track system is designed for mounting directly to an overhead structure only, it cannot be suspended. Start-stop-reverse action shall be available via a magnetic control system and push button type remote control station(s).  Model 160 as manufactured by Automatic Devices Company of Allentown, PA.
